Xennials are those born sometime between 1977 and 1983, according to American think tank Pew Research Center. They are a microgeneration characterized by having experienced an analog childhood and digital adulthood. In the US alone, it is estimated that there are 25 million Xennials.

“Not quite Gen Xers and not quite Millennials either” is perhaps the best way to describe them. Xennials serve as the bridge between Generation X and Millennials. Growing up, they have lived without computers and the internet but came of age during the dot-com bubble. This may explain why they prefer to communicate via email and instant messaging.

At work, Xennials are highly adaptive, cooperative, and open-minded. The drastic changes around their environment during their formative years have opened them to the world of possibilities. It gave them the skills to be adaptive and flexible in using new technologies to get the job done. The shift of cultural values brought about by the internet also shaped them to be highly cooperative and communicative, especially when exchanging ideas and opinions.

CRM use among Xennials

CRM use appeals the most to Xennials. As a generation that experienced the world of traditional and modern marketing, they tend to combine the best of both worlds when doing business.

This means that Xennials can make phone calls, send emails, and take note of the unique needs and preferences of their customers without switching to other apps using the centralized platform. CRMs also provide a clean and systematic organization of data to which Xennials can benefit from.

In other words, CRMs approach in combining traditional and modern marketing speaks well to Xennials.

Using Saphyte as a Xennial

Saphyte has several features that Xennials can benefit from:

1. Bulk emails – As a generation that communicates the most using emails, especially at work, Saphyte allows Xennials to send multiple emails to potential and existing customers in just a few clicks.

It also allows them to filter their database and select using a set of criteria whom to send the emails to, making email marketing a lot easier.

2. Instant customer information – Saphyte can instantly gather customer information from its user’s targets. All the user has to do is leave a form on the company website or social media for the targets to fill up and Saphyte’s system will automatically migrate these data into the CRM.

Xennials can then use the CRM to sort out incoming leads and make further engagements (like making phone calls) to leads that fit the criteria. To help users determine where the leads come from, Saphyte tracks these leads and display their source. This further helps users monitor the effectiveness of their campaigns.

3. Shareable, customizable dashboards – Saphyte’s dashboards can be shared among users. As a generation that prioritizes seamless coordination, Xennials need to have shared access to real-time data and analytics, which can dictate what actions the teams need to take in the next few days.

The dashboards can also be customized to only include relevant information. Users can make their own original dashboard or use the system-generated dashboards (clients, forms, deals, emails, and campaigns) for their convenience. Elements in the dashboard can also be moved and resized according to the user’s preferences.

Using Saphyte during the pandemic

Since most people’s mobility has been limited because of the pandemic, most transactions are done online now. This is for a good cause. But because of this disruption, many businesses are finding it hard to adapt to the new “normal.”

With Saphyte, working from home will be less of a problem. Teams can still collaborate well using the system just like they do in the boardroom. With tools that allow automation and less manual work, teams can maximize their productivity by only focusing on what is important.

This way businesses can still generate leads and engage with them online using the system while practicing social distancing. Stay safe, stay at home but don’t let this stop you from growing your business!
